Started in 2015, thanks to the commitment of local beekeepers who, with the establishment of the Associazione Apicoltori di Marostica (Marostica Beekeepers’ Association) and the creation of two community apiaries, have made Marostica a beekeeping reference point, promoting apitherapy thanks to the Integrated apiary, the only one in Italy, privately owned by Andrea Dal Zotto from Marostica.
The Festival is organised by the Associazione Apicoltori di Marostica, the City Council and the Associazione degli Apicoltori dell’Astico Brenta (Astico Brenta Beekeepers’ Association).
It presents a rich programme of activities in addition to displaying the best aviary production through an important meeting dedicated to beekeeping.
