To live in Chapel of the Santissimo Sacramento

It dates back to 1486 and was built by the Confraternity of the Blessed Sacrament. A simple, single-chambered building, it is a typical oratory currently used for art exhibitions. In 1535 Jacopo Dal Ponte, known as Bassano (c. 1510 – 1592), frescoed the facade with The Miracle of the Donkey of Saint Anthony of Padua. A lunette above the entrance door remains to bear witness to this grand fresco depicting Il Cristo passo tra due Angioletti (lit. The Dead Christ lamented by two angels). A painting by Bartolomeo Montagna depicting Virgin Mary between St. John the Baptist and St. Anthony the Abbot used to be placed on the altar, which has now been replaced by a valuable statue of the Madonna.
