To live in Dark Chasms

Gorghi Scuri is one of the most suggestive naturalistic sites in the area north of Marostica.
For genre enthusiasts, this place vaguely resembles the elven "Great Ravine" of "The Lord of the Rings". It represents, in the popular imagination of Venetian tradition, the ideal hiding place for Anguane and Salbanelli (mythological wood fairies and elves).

The Valley of Dark Chasms is certainly one of the most important wetlands in the territory of Marostica. The Valletta stream, with its pools and waterfalls, is a true oasis for many animals: salamanders come to reproduce in these waters, migratory birds find refreshment there during their long journeys, dragonflies woo among the reeds...and hikers can immerse themselves in this atmosphere of peace and serenity just a few steps from the city centre.
