A project was implemented starting in 2016 to enhance hillside cultivation, which made it possible to plant several varieties of small fruits in Marostica and Pianezze. 
Blueberries, blackberries and raspberries are grown on various farms in the Marostica area along the beautiful flat land where they peep out of the fields or come out unexpected , protected by anti-hail nets, at the end of some demanding climbs along the green hills around Marostica.
Although they are "small fruits", the importance of this food is great as it is rich in healthy properties such as antioxidants and anti-inflammatory agents, it is tasty and natural, and it is cultivated with love and respect for the territory. 
Small fruits include raspberries, which are present here in their perpetual varieties that cover the cultivated rows with reddish colored spots, blueberries (we have the Duke variety here, a tall, strong and thriving plant) bearing good and tasty fruits that invite you for... an eating binge, why not? You may try them as good jam or enjoy them on a tasty ice cream!
